BRIDCUTT BANISHES THE TABLES

The Football League Paper - - CHAMPIONSHIP -

TEMPTATION comes in many forms, but a need to repeatedly check the league table is not one Leeds skipper Liam Bridcutt is familiar with.

The 27-year-old midfielder insists the squad cannot get distracted by play-offs talk and must focus on more points.

“I couldn’t tell you the last time I looked at a league table. I am not a player who looks behind or looks forward. I am only focused on the task in hand,” he said.

“People do get caught up with the teams around them and you can get distracted from the job you need to do. Our job is to turn up and win.”
