DEALS ON HOLD AT BLADES

The Football League Paper - - LEAGUE ONE -

CHRIS Wilder is refusing to deal with any player contracts at Sheffield United until the end of the season, when he knows which league they will be in next year.

The Blades seem destined for a Championship return, but a number of first-team stars, such as striker Marc McNulty, 24, and winger Jay O’Shea, 28, (who is on loan from Chesterfield until the end of the season), will be out of contract.

“There is an obvious bigger issue and I have said to all the players whose contracts are up – through the skipper – that I won’t deal with anything at all,” said Wilder.
