CORRY IS OUT FOR SEASON

BLACKBURN Rovers boss Tony Mowbray doesn’t expect to see Corry Evans in action again this season.

The Northern Ireland international, 26, has not featured since January 2 due to a groin injury, and Mowbray is willing to give him time to recover.

“We came to hopefully a plan that is going to get him ready,” Mowbray said.

“In my mind, it is not for this season. There are only four or five weeks to go, so I wanted to put his mind to rest that he shouldn’t be chasing next week or the week after. He needs to start his programme of quite intense works to make him more ready to play week in, week out.”
