PARKINSON SHOULDN’T PANIC YET

The Football League Paper - - LEAGUE ONE -

PHIL Parkinson won’t spend too long bemoaning his bad luck here.

In truth, despite hitting the crossbar twice in striving to equalise against ten-man Oldham, Bolton struggled to assert the superiority expected of a side fighting for promotion over that of an opponent battling to stay up in terms of clear-cut chances.

All that matters now, though, is three points followed by three points. Victories over Bury and Port Vale will see Wanderers back in the second tier, no matter how Fleetwood and Bradford fare.

It promises to be a similar battle to this against Bury at home on Tuesday night. Parkinson will urge his side for one big final push, as what has so far been an excellent season reaches its denouement.
