CANARIES’ RUSS HITS 300 MARK
NORWICH captain Russell Martin still has plenty to offer, according to caretaker boss Alan Irvine, after racking up his 300th appearance on Friday.
The defender led out the Canaries against Brighton as they approach the end of a frustrating season.
Having been at Carrow Road since 2009, the 31year-old has been a loyal servant .
“He is a great captain on and off the pitch. Any player who appears 300 times for one club has achieved something very special,” said Irvine. “I am sure he has an awful lot more games in him.”
