‘GET USED TO ACHES AND PAINS’
CREWE manager David Artell believes a draining season has finally caught up with his players.
The Railwaymen played three games in nine days earlier this month – losing to Yeovil and Accrington and drawing with Notts County – but Artell wants them to learn how to cope.
He said: “A number had not played before Christmas and they have had to play 15, 16, 17 games and then it is game 18 and their body is struggling.
“They are getting knocks and aching, but they have to get used to it.
“It is part and parcel of football and you have to play with knocks a lot of the time.”
