CARLISLE manager Keith Curle has reminded his players they are playing for their futures as the League Two seasons reaches its climax.

The Blues are still chasing a play-off spot and Curle is aiming to keep standards sky-high at Brunton Park.

“Make no mistake about it – they are playing for their careers. It is very, very simple,” said the Carlisle manager.

“Even if you are sat there with a year’s contract, you are playing for your career.

“There is no point me falling out with people. I will fall out with people at the end of the season when they are coming in and I tell them they no longer have a future with me.”
