VALLEY IS BIG DRAW – ROBBO
AS CHARLTON manager Karl Robinson prepares to start his summer recruitment drive, he insists the club still has the prestige to draw the best players in League One.
He believes the stature of the Addicks and the matchday atmosphere can still give them an advantage over rivals.
“(The club) is a massive draw. That’s got to be why we should be competitive,” he said. “If anyone was at the game against Gillingham and wants to play here, they should have listened to the noise the fans made. It was incredible.
“Our aim is to try to get as many people back in the Valley as possible.”
