CLAYTON BAGS NEW CONTRACT
BRENTFORD prospect Bradley Clayton has put pen to paper on a new contract, despite an injury-plagued season.
The 19-year-old midfielder was on the fringes of the first team at the start of the campaign, but injury wrecked his chances.
Brentford’s head of football operations, Robert Rowan, believes he deserves the new deal.
“I think it was only fair considering his performances in between his injuries,” said Rowan.
“Nick and Liam in our medical team are working extremely hard to get him ready to go from day one of pre-season in June.”
