MILSOM SET ON COUNTY
ROB Milsom expects contracts talks to be straightforward after expressing his desire to remain at Notts County.
The 30-year-old midfielder was voted the Magpies’ 2016-17 player of the year, as well as the players’ player after a consistent second season at Meadow Lane. But his contract is up this summer.
He said: “I have really enjoyed it this season and, hopefully, I can put down roots here. I’ve really enjoyed playing under the gaffer (Kevin Nolan) and I think the club is going places. I’d like to be part of a club that is going forward next season.
“Hopefully we can come to an agreement.”
