WHALLEY STAYS PUT

-

SHREWSBURY winger Shaun Whalley has signed a new contract with the club.

The 29-year-old has put pen to paper on a two-year deal to keep him at Greenhous Meadow until the summer of 2019.

Whalley has been a regular under boss Paul Hurst this season.

“I think he’s done well since I’ve come to the club,” Hurst said. “He’s arguably been our most creative player, certainly since I arrived, and I want him to be part of it.”
