FLORIAN STAYING AT BEES
BRENTFORD have exercised their option to extend Florian Jozefzoon’s contract by a further year.
The former Netherlands U21 international, who has played for Dutch giants Ajax and PSV Eindhoven, arrived at Griffin Park in January on a deal until the end of the season, but the Bees have moved to tie Jozefzoon to an additional 12 months.
The pacy 26-year-old winger, who was born in French Guiana and made his Ajax debut at the age of 19, has made 19 appearances in the Championship thus far.
He scored his sole Brentford goal to date in his side’s 1-1 draw at Barnsley in April.
