ROOFE’S READY TO RAISE IT
KEMAR Roofe has vowed to live up to his reputation at Leeds this season.
The 24-year-old striker cost a hefty £3m when he joined from Oxford United in the summer of 2016 but managed only three goals in a white shirt last term.
“It wasn’t bad but it should have been better. There were frustrating things about it,” said Roofe. “There were ups and downs for me and in my head, I tell myself I should have done better.
“I know the things I should have been better at.
“At the end of the season, I took some time to reflect on it all. It’s the only way you improve.”
