The Football League Paper - - CHAMPIONSHIP - By Charlie Peat

FRENCHMAN Arthur Gnahoua is confident he can replicate the form he showed at Kidderminster and win over the Shrewsbury faithful.

The 25-year-old scored 15 goals for the National League North side and made it two in two for the Shrews with a 94th-minute winner against Doncaster in midweek.

And while Gnahoua was making something of a step into the unknown at Shrewsbury, he has been able to win over his teammates in very little time.

Gnahoua said: “In training I had to prove myself because they didn’t really know me – I had to show them I could play. Now they’ve got more faith in me. The lads say that I do it (score) most of the time in training so they knew I was going to score.”

Gnahoua, who was a fulltime at Kidderminster, seems to have made the three division jump seamlessly with a mature head on his shoulders.

He said: “I’ve got to keep on believing and working hard in training, if I don’t get more minutes I’ve got to keep my head up.”

GOALS: Arthur Gnahoua
