EAGER TO MAKE MARK
AS HE completes his return from injury, Jamaican winger Mark Marshall is ready to put a nightmare start to life at Charlton behind him.
After moving to the Valley from Bradford over the summer, the 30-year-old suffered a knee injury during pre-season but played his first 40 minutes for the Addicks at Fleetwood last Saturday and is ready to kick on.
“Coming to a new club, you want to get off to a flyer but unfortunately I had that injury,” he said. “It was devastating – I was only two weeks into pre-season when it happened but I’m back now and it’s just good to be out there.”
