Safety plans go on view

A pub­lic meet­ing will be held in Springholm tonight to study the lat­est road safety pro­pos­als for the vil­lage.

Of­fi­cials from Scot­land TranServ will be give pre­sen­ta­tions about the speed man­age­ment pro­pos­als.

Ear­lier this year Trans­port Min­is­ter Humza Yousaf sug­gested re­verse dis­crim­i­na­tion traf­fic lights, which turn red if a mo­torist is speed­ing, could be in­tro­duced.

The meet­ing will be held in the me­mo­rial hall from 6pm.
