Kirkcudbright winners

The Galloway News - - DISTRICT NEWS -

Kirkcudbright Horticultural and Industrial Society held their annual show in the parish church hall for the second successive year.

The show was a great success with a good number of entries and visitors, possibly as a result of the fine weather on show day.

Mrs Carola Cliff of Stockarton opened proceedings and presented the prizes. The society would like to thank the judges for giving their time on Saturday morning and to the members of Kirkcudbright Gardeners Society who acted as stewards. They would also like to thank Kirkcudbright Summer Festivities for the loan of tables and to the many local businesses who donated raffle prizes.
