Spooky arts fun for Hallowe’en
There were lots of scary goings on at theTolbooth in Kirkcudbright on Saturday.
Brave children were taken to the top of the historic building to got the chance to create their own spooky drawing.
Once completed, the pictures were rolled up and, after the lights went out, they were unfurled to reveal its full scary character as the drawings were done with gooey luminous paint.
It all helped to create a collage of shimmering colours.
The council event was organised by Kirkcudbright Galleries as they look to boost publicity around the opening of the new gallery in the town next year.
The kids were helped by arts offices Hildegarde Berwick and Rachael Dilley.
