Night to re­mem­ber at Scot­stoun

Ste­wartry Sharks P7s took part in a pre-match tour­na­ment at Scot­stoun, home of Glas­gow War­riors, on Fri­day.

The Sharks played very well, work­ing to­gether, pass­ing, ruck­ing and tack­ling with con­fi­dence earn­ing them con­vinc­ing wins against Al­lan Glen and GHA be­fore suf­fer­ing a nar­row de­feat. De­spite the de­feat, how­ever, the Sharks had earned their place in the fi­nal on the main pitch at half-time against Loch Lomond which ended in a score­less draw.The young­sters all per­formed well and were a credit to the club.

A fan­tas­tic evening was topped off when for­mer Ste­wartry Shark Stafford McDowall made his Scot­stoun de­but for theWar­riors against South African team South­ern Kings. Af­ter the match, Stafford took the time to come over and greet the Sharks, much to their delight.
