Top dairy specialists at inaugural event
Farming and rural supplier MoleValley Farmers is hosting its inaugural dairy conference onTuesday, November 7 at Ayr Racecourse.

FromWisconsin, Matt Lange (MBA) is a renowned dairy business consultant with Compeer Financial.The company serves the business needs of more than 100 dairy clients throughout the USA and accounts for more than 100,000 milking cows within its company portfolio.
As well as budgetary and business performance monitoring, Matt also advises on strategic planning, benchmarking, tactical decision making and analysis.
Founder of Cow SignalsTraining Company andVetvice, Joep Driessen, provides farmers with a presentation on understanding cow signals and the benefits of increasing animal health and welfare.
A qualified veterinarian, Mr Driessen started his first Cow Signals workshop in 1999 and founded his consultancy company in 2007.The company now has more than 300 trainers and operates in 55 countries.
BertjanWesterlaan is a partner inVetvice Barn Design, a leading company based in Holland specialising in cow comfort, labour efficiency, building design and sustainable milk production.
A qualified veterinarian, MrWesterlaan has delivered building design in more than 21 countries including Canada, China, Germany, mainland Europe as well as the UK.Vetvice has delivered more than 1,000 building layouts and two-thirds of the company’s designs are currently for robotic units.
Two speakers from the UK complete the expert line-up. Tom Hough, technical manager at MoleValley Farmers delivers a presentation on“Optimum Lifetime Dairy.”
Dr Robin Hawkey, MoleValley Farmers technical sales manager provides his insight on“The Next Chapter on Precision Nutrition.”
