Have your say on windfarm cash priorities
Dalry Community Council is to host two drop-in sessions to help people fill out a windfarm survey.
Glenkens residents have been asked to list their spending priorities for community windfarm cash.
The Stewartry Council of Voluntary Service ( SCVS) has been commissioned by the Glenkens and District Trust to carry out a survey identifying the views of people living in the area.
And the Dalry group want a public discussion on the matter.
On behalf of the community council, Morag Paterson said: “If you have any questions or suggestions about the survey come and discuss it.
“We’ll also be on hand if you’d like help filling it in, or need extra copies. We’d like to get as many people as possible involved.
“It’s also a great chance to air any creative ideas you have for shaping the future of the community.”
The sessions will take place in Dalry Town Hall on Monday, first from 2-4pm and again from 5-7pm.
Marie Jackson, of the SCVS, said: “It’s essential that everyone has a chance to determine what areas should not only receive funding but how it should be prioritised.”
The area is due to receive hundreds of thousands of pounds from windfarm funding.
