Wellbeing studied at partners day
Primary pupils at Hardgate, Lochrutton and Springholm held a partnership learning day looking at health.
P1 children looked at the theme of Safe, P2s explored how they could keep themselves Healthy, P3s investigated how to keep their body and minds Active and P4s found out what it means to be Nurtured.
P5s set out the steps to Achieving, the P6s discussed some moral dilemmas around Responsibilities and P7s looked at what it meant to be Respected and Included.
It was a wonderful day with children and staff joining together, sharing expertise and learning, and building friendships across the schools.
Maria said: “I think it was very nice to get together because when you get to high school you’ll know more people.”
Partnership head teacher Mr Cother thanked staff and children for all their hard work that made the day so successful.
He added: “We have a wonderful team in the partnership and events like this h support learning l f for all ll the h children. h ld It was very positive to see the children build new friendships and reconnect with others. It has been a great success!”
