Lee is new gaffer at Cree­town

Cree­town have ap­pointed Lee Bass as their new boss.

He re­places Harry Fi­dler, who stood down as man­ager at the end of the sea­son.

Lee has coached teams in the Bri­tish Army and has also worked with teams in and around Dum­fries.

Chair­man Eric Hous­ton told the club web­site: “We are over the moon to have Lee in­volved in the club.

“We have a his­tory here of giv­ing new man­agers and play­ers the chance to show what they can do at this level.

“Lee is ex­tremely keen to get started and the club be­lieve with his past experiences this is the best ap­point­ment for us mov­ing for­ward.

“Lee is a re­ally ded­i­cated in­di­vid­ual and we are sure he can do a great job here at Cas­tle Cary along with his newly formed coaching team.”

David McGeoch will be Lee’s assistant with Las­saad Sbitta also com­ing in as a coach to work with Rhuri Pa­ton, Garry McKnight and Ste­vie Do­rans.

The club has also an­nounced this year’s Ben Her­ries Chal­lenge will be on Satur­day, June 30 and in­volve past and present Cree­town and South play­ers.
