Wheelie good fun down on the farm

The Galloway News - - FARMING -

More than 600 people took the chance to look around Ernespie Farm on Sunday.

The farm on the outskirts of Castle Douglas was opened up by the McMiken family as part of Open Farm Sunday.

There were a variety of activities for people to enjoy in the glorious sunshine including a tractor pull, barbecue, a quiz and the chance to look around the farm at the animals.

There was also a competition to guess how many balloons were in a tractor.

The day was free but donations of around £500 were received which will go to Alzheimer Scotland and the Life ChangesTrust.
