Fright­fully good walk

Ste­wartry ac­tive schools and com­mu­nity sport team hosted their spooky Hal­lowe’en Walk on Fri­day.

Dal­beat­tie Town Wood was filled with ghouls, ghosts and gob­lins for a free walk­ing event for all the fam­ily dur­ing the Oc­to­ber hol­i­days.

More than 80 peo­ple took part, fol­low­ing the route to find all the ghosts and find the trick or treat point on the way round.

At base camp, chil­dren could play in the park area or mud­dle in the slimy spooky sen­sory play area while par­ents could take a rest from find­ing ghosts.

Par­tic­i­pants filled in the ghosts’ names and handed their sheets in to have the chance to win a ham­per of good­ies which was due be an­nounced live on the Ste­wartry ac­tive schools and com­mu­nity sport Face­book on Hal­lowe’en.
