This year we’ve had a big prob­lem with jack­daws spoil­ing our ap­ples: they’ve ru­ined a good crop of rus­sets. This has not been a prob­lem be­fore; does any­one know why they have ar­rived here? Is there any­thing we can do to pre­vent them ru­in­ing ap­ples in fu­ture?
