Eliane Radigue & Lee Gamble Matlock
Experimental French electronic music composer Eliane Radigue is a master of the ARP 2500 synthesizer, having worked on it since the 1970s making Buddhistinspired minimal drone epics. Then, in 2001, she mostly gave up electronics and went acoustic. For this show, London producer Lee Gamble will be doing the same, composing a new piece for soloists. The two works will be performed in the Great Masson Cavern in Derbyshire; the audience will travel to the peak of the Heights of Abrahan by cable car before descending into the huge concert space.
