Marcos found guilty of corruption charges
Imelda Marcos, the former first lady of the Philippines renowned for her lavish shoe collection, has been found guilty of seven counts of corruption during her 20 years in office. Marcos, 89, pictured, faces between six and 11 years for each count of corruption. The court case has been running for two decades. The charges relate to private foundations set up in Switzerland from 1968 to 1986.
