Sitting on the edge of computer control

The Herald Business - - Innovations -

IT LOOKS like a straightforward and perhaps slightly retro armchair whose only interesting feature is that it reclines. But this is no ordinary recliner; this is the Armed Chair and it’s set to rock the world of home theatres in 2007. A tiny computer controls robotic arms inside the chair to make it move along with movie action. The Armed Chair takes you on a roller coaster journey into the film to the point where you are actually part of it; whether that be narrowly escaping the jaws of the T-Rex in Jurassic Park or just dodging a bludger in the latest Quidditch match. There’s a constant stream of upgrades to make sure the chair knows how to rock you to the latest films.
