In­tel­li­gent Pen­sions strength­ens se­nior team

IN­TEL­LI­GENT Pen­sions has re­cruited An­drew Pen­nie as mar­ket­ing di­rec­tor in re­sponse to a rise in de­mand among IFAs for re­tire­ment ad­vi­sory so­lu­tions.

Pen­nie joins the Glas­gow-based com­pany from San­tander Pri­vate Bank­ing, where he was Mar­ket­ing Di­rec­tor for James Hay and Cater Allen Pri­vate Bank. Prior to that, he spent 10 years as an IFA and in­vest­ment spe­cial­ist for a num­ber of dif­fer­ent com­pa­nies, in­clud­ing Ernst & Young, HSBC and Lloyds Pri­vate Bank­ing.

Steve Pat­ter­son, man­ag­ing di­rec­tor of In­tel­li­gent Pen­sions said: “An­drew’s ap­point­ment is an ex­cit­ing devel­op­ment for In­tel­li­gent Pen­sions. An­drew brings a strong un­der­stand­ing of the IFA mar­ket and his role will be to de­velop the In­tel­li­gent Pen­sions brand through­out the UK and en­hance the way in which we en­gage with the IFA mar­ket.”

In­tel­li­gent Pen­sions has in ex­cess of £300m of funds un­der man­age­ment.
