Raft of fresh expertise as Brodies adds to partner list
PENSIONS specialist Alison Shackleton has joined Brodies LLP as a Partner in Glasgow, bringing 15 years’ experience to the Employment, Pensions & Benefits team of the biggest law firm in Scotland.
Her expertise includes advising global and domestic businesses on complex pension scheme matters and advising lay and professional independent trustees on the complexities of pensions law.
Alison has been listed in the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners independent legal directories in recent years and her appointment brings the number of the firm’s employment and pensions team in Glasgow to 12.
Other appointments in the New Year are Ken MacDonald, one of the most respected commercial litigators in the north-east of Scotland, who is to join Brodies as a Business Disputes partner in its Aberdeen office. Commercial property specialist Tracey Menzies MBE is joining also as a Partner in Aberdeen from Pinsent Masons.
Construction specialist Alistair McLean, with more than 25 years’ experience, is joining from Dundas & Wilson. He will be based in Edinburgh.
