Kora ap­points part­ners to han­dle its yak wool range

KORA, an out­door brand that uses the “science of na­ture to sup­port ath­letic per­for­mance in ex­treme en­vi­ron­ments”, has set up an “in­te­grated ful­fil­ment and call cen­tre ser­vice” to process and dis­trib­ute its range of yak wool-based cloth­ing.

The com­pany says its Hima-Layer fab­ric har­nesses and max­imises the per­for­mance ben­e­fits of yak wool, in a range aimed at “out­door ad­ven­tur­ers”.

A kora spokesper­son said: “Cum­ber­nauld-based busi­ness process out­sourc- ing com­pany KBVO will pro­vide a to­tal call cen­tre ser­vice sup­port­ing cus­tomer en­quiries and or­der pro­cess­ing ser­vices for the range, while Lin­lith­gow-based PPF Ship­ping will pro­vide dis­tri­bu­tion.”

Michael Klein­wort, founder of kora, added: “This pro­vides us with an ef­fi­cient and ef­fec­tive one-stop so­lu­tion for all our ful­fil­ment re­quire­ments. It lets us re­tain con­trol over our man­u­fac­tur­ing and sales process, while KBVO and PPF get on with en­sur­ing that our cus­tomers re­ceive their gar­ments as quickly and ef­fi­ciently as pos­si­ble.”

Chris Munro, of KBVO, said: “Our part­ner­ship with PPF en­ables us to of­fer a full out­sourced pack­age from or­der pro­cess­ing to despatch.
