Kora appoints partners to handle its yak wool range
KORA, an outdoor brand that uses the “science of nature to support athletic performance in extreme environments”, has set up an “integrated fulfilment and call centre service” to process and distribute its range of yak wool-based clothing.
The company says its Hima-Layer fabric harnesses and maximises the performance benefits of yak wool, in a range aimed at “outdoor adventurers”.
A kora spokesperson said: “Cumbernauld-based business process outsourc- ing company KBVO will provide a total call centre service supporting customer enquiries and order processing services for the range, while Linlithgow-based PPF Shipping will provide distribution.”
Michael Kleinwort, founder of kora, added: “This provides us with an efficient and effective one-stop solution for all our fulfilment requirements. It lets us retain control over our manufacturing and sales process, while KBVO and PPF get on with ensuring that our customers receive their garments as quickly and efficiently as possible.”
Chris Munro, of KBVO, said: “Our partnership with PPF enables us to offer a full outsourced package from order processing to despatch.
