ONE company to have realised its potential with the help of Alba Innovation Centre in Livingston is Cobra Simulation. The firm was founded in 2012 and has been based in the centre for the past year, developing a curved-screen technology that has applications in sectors ranging from telecommunication to training.

Its Cobra Curved Display is the world’s first “panadome spherical projection screen” to use a single projector, leave a small footprint, be desktop friendly, portable and compatible with a range of consumer and professional projectors.

Cobra oversaw the process from prototype to manufacturing and is now selling products around the world. The Alba Innovation Centre, meanwhile, provided dedicated adviser support, practical contacts and network opportunities to allow the founders to realise their company’s full business potential.
