PRIME TIME FOR CAMP­BELLS AS FIRM’S PROF­ITS DOUBLE

July 31 FAM­ILY-owned meat and fish sup­plier Camp­bells Prime Meat has seen its prof­its nearly double to more than £1.6 mil­lion. The busi­ness, which sup­plies to top chefs such as Tom Kitchin, Nick Nairn and Martin Wishart, saw turnover in­crease nine per cent from £50.7 mil­lion to £55.2m in 2013. Man­ag­ing di­rec­tor Christo­pher Campbell said the per­for­mance had ex­ceeded his ex­pec­ta­tions and cited a gen­eral im­prove­ment in the econ­omy.
