Gregg Wylde last night agreed a three-year deal with Bolton Wan­der­ers, just over a week af­ter his con­tract was can­celled by Rangers.

The left-winger had been pur­sued by Owen Coyle for some time and al­most joined the Bar­clays Premier League club last sum­mer be­fore sign­ing a long-term con­tract at Ibrox which was ter­mi­nated af­ter Rangers went into ad­min­is­tra­tion.

Speak­ing on Twit­ter, Wylde an­nounced: “De­lighted and proud to have signed for Bolton. Been a tough few weeks and I’ll al­ways be thank­ful to Rangers, but ex­cited for a new chal­lenge.”
