Bilimbi adds spice for Haggas on historic day
BILIMBI, trained by William Haggas and partnered by James Sullivan, scooped the feature race on Musselburgh’s historic Good Friday,

It was a nice performance by an improving three-year-old as he swept two-and-a-quarter lengths clear of Extra Noble in the £50,000 totepool Royal Mile Handicap.
Sullivan said: “That’s my first ride for Mr Haggas and I’d say it’s the biggest win of my career. He really found a nice stride and is a lovely type of horse. Slightly easier ground would help and I think he has a bright future.”
Mukhmal could be Royal Ascotbound after impressing on his debut in the Bet toteplacepot Scottish Brocklesby Stakes under Dane O’Neill.
On an afternoon of fast times, Jim Goldie’s Jonny Delta lowered the 14-year-old 1m 6f track record under Ian Brennan in the Download The totepool Live Info App Handicap.
