Grilled mackerel Versatile fish that’s ideal paired with salad
OF all the dishes I have cooked in my time as a chef, mackerel is one of my all-time favourites. It’s very versatile – you can smoke it, pickle it, lightly fry it, turn it into a great tasting pate or grill it, as in this recipe.
4 mackerel fillets
1 tub creme fraiche
3 lemons, juiced
1 bunch chives ½ packet dill
2 plum tomatoes
1 packet salad leaves Vinaigrette
