The Herald on Sunday - - THE WEEK -

THE festival’s popular Roaming Roots collaborative revue will turn its attention to The Beatles’ album, Abbey Road, in 2019. The show, curated and hosted by Roddy Hart and The Lonesome Fire, will see the Sun King Orchestra playing alongside special guests, including KT Tunstall, The Staves and You Tell Me, a duo consisting of Admiral Fallow’s Sarah Hayes and

Field Music’s Peter Brewis. Tunstall sent an upbeat tweet on Friday: “Oh, good people of Glasgow!! Delighted to share that I will be appearing at the @ccfest Festival next January along with a host of amazing musicians.”

Hart himself tweeted that further “very special guests” would be announced.

The revue is one of the annual highlights of the festival. Last year’s saw a transatlantic cast honouring the late Tom Petty.
