Manager Peter Houston has been handed a one-match touchline ban for his Ibrox criticism of referee John McKendrick. Houston admitted criticising the match officials in such a way that indicated “bias and incompetence on their part”, during an SFA disciplinary hearing. The former Dundee United manager will have to sit in the stand for the Ladbrokes Championship match against St Mirren on Saturday and has been given a further one-game suspended ban. Houston was cited for comments during an interview with Falkirk’s own online TV station after their 3-1 defeat by Rangers on October 3.
