Youth ad­mits flare prank at school

A TEENAGER has ad­mit­ted let­ting off a smoke bomb that led to a school with 1,200 pupils be­ing evac­u­ated on the last day of term be­fore ex­ams. The flare set off the smoke alarm at Bo’ness Acad­emy, West Loth­ian, on April 28 last year. Jack Marsters, 18, of Bo’ness, yes­ter­day pled guilty at Falkirk Sher­iff Court to cul­pa­ble and reck­less con­duct. Sher­iff John Mundy de­ferred sen­tence for re­ports.
