Ex-Scotland player faces abuse trail
A FORMER Scotland and Dundee United footballer is to stand trial after he allegedly behaved in a threatening and abusive manner towards his partner.
Garry Kenneth, 29, who was once valued at £2 million by the Tannadice club and has two Scotland caps, now plays part-time fo Lowland League side Selkirk.
Mr Kenneth, of Dundee, learned he will go on trial in March when he appeared at the city’s sheriff court yesterday.
He was also fined £300 for the driving without insurance and had his licence endorsed with six penalty points.
