We’re in for a bumpy year
THE president-elect’s discordant press conference was graphically described by a commentator as “theatre of the absurd”. Donald Trump has succeeded in alienating and maligning both the media and the United States intelligence services before his presidency has even begun (“Trump slams ‘fake news’ as he hits out CIA and FBI”, The Herald, January 12).
