Woman hurt in station roof fall
AN elderly woman has been taken to hospital after being injured when a ceiling panel came down at a station.
The passenger was in the corridor at the Dundas Street entrance of Glasgow’s Queen Street station when the plasterboard panel broke off shortly after 11am yesterday.
She was taken to hospital with minor injuries. A ScotRail spokesman said: “An investigation is under way into what happened.”
The corridor involved leads towards low-level platforms. The railways safety regulator has been notified.
