Police hunt for swastika yobs
POLICE have launched an investigation after swastikas were daubed on vehicles and a wall in a town in Dumfries-shire.
Officers said the vandalism happened around McConechy’s garage in Lockerbie, some time between 2.30pm on Sunday and 7.30am yesterday.
Constable David Noble said police were carrying out door-to-door inquiries into the incident.
He added: “We appeal to anyone in the community who may have any knowledge as to who is responsible for this disgusting act at this time of remembrance and reflection in our community to get in touch with us at Lockerbie on the 101 number.”
