Rainbow laces for Celtic stars
CELTIC players will wear rainbow coloured laces during matches as part of a campaign to make LGBT players and fans feel comfortable at games.
The Rainbow Laces campaign aims to raise awareness of anti-LGBT abuse by asking clubs to show their support for the LGBT community.
Celtic captain Scott Brown helped to promote the campaign, which he said addressed a “very important issue which needs to be tackled”, and said he was delighted the club was taking part.
The SPFL, Scottish FA and a number of clubs including Aberdeen and Hibernian have signed up to this year’s campaign.
Rangers had earlier announced their players would also take part.
