Four youths held over school blaze
FOUR teenagers have been detained in connection with a wilful fire-raising incident at a disused school in Aberdeen.
Police said three 15-yearolds and one aged 14 would be reported over a blaze at Cordyce School in Dyce.
Fire crews were called to the school at around 11pm on Monday. It took 30 firefighters took about three hours to bring the flames under control.
Detective Inspector David Howieson said: “The building was extensively damaged and it goes without saying that this could have been a much more serious incident. Thankfully no one was injured.”
Police have appealed for information.
