He added: “Re­tail­ers are be­ing forced to take very dif­fi­cult de­ci­sions as they man­age the triple chal­lenge of trans­for­ma­tional dig­i­tal change, the squeeze on fam­ily fi­nances, and the on­go­ing im­pact of pub­lic pol­icy.
