Man jailed for brother attack
A VIOLENT man who left his brother brain-damaged and blinded in one eye after an attack has been jailed for six years.
Raymond Gunn, 54, turned on his brother
Alan Gunn, 60, repeatedly kicking him after a heated row about their wives.
Alan spent six months in hospital and rehab and still cannot walk properly due to the sustained attack.
Raymond Gunn carried out the attack in his flat in Wyndford Road, Maryhill, Glasgow. He was originally charged with attempted murder, but a jury at the High Court in Glasgow convicted him of the reduced charge of assault to danger of life.
Gunn waved to family in the court as he was led away to begin his sentence.
