The Hockey Paper - - FEATURE -

NADINE’S aim is to create flattering, affordable evening wear and she has some top tips for any hockey players heading for the club Christmas party or New Year ball.

“It’s all about dressing for your body shape, to suit your figure,” she says. “But it’s New Year so you should go all out and opt for the full-on sparkle.

“If you’re a party owl you’ll slay the mini dress which is ideal if you’re out for dinner or drinks and then maybe contemplating moving on to a club.

“The long dresses are probably more suitable for a ball or a sit-down meal.

“It’s the festive season so feel free to go with red or gold although black is always a good, timeless classic.

“I want to create simple, endless, timeless red-carpet wear, which doesn’t cost £1,000 a time but is much more affordable.”

Nadine’s next collection is going to feature “alternative” wedding attire, suitable, she says, for those who might be getting hitched second time around or who don’t want traditional, flouncy formal white. See Nadine’s collection at www.nadinemerabi.com
