THE ADAM Science Foundation has created an alumni network for graduates of its leadership programme.

The network, launched by the foundation and the UJIA with support from the Pears Foundation, brings together those who have graduated since 1992 with a view to training people to become Jewish community leaders. The programme was set up in memory of Adam Science, who died aged 27 in 1991.

Addressing the 100 guests — including some 70 graduates — at the launch, UJIA chairman Mick Davis, said: “There is a need to rejuvenate the leadership of the community with younger people and it is the responsibility of Adam Science alumni to step forward and take that responsibility.”
